Lovely old building, with great bedrooms, well positioned in the old town. A good bar.
Reception staff were a little off-hand (and not very polite), our bags were marched off to our room with not a word said and almost knocking over my wife in the process.

The gardens were a good retreat.
Check-in could improve. It was a bit chaotic and the front desk staff were overwhelmed, leading to confusion about hotel layout and amenities.

A beautiful building with a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were very quiet and very dark for sleeping. Lovely restaurant and courtyards.Very little English spoken by the staff but this was not a problem.

Beautifull parador, but unfortunately a little modern rooms. Center of town (plaza Mayor) is great and has a lot of atmosphere. We were lucky to have stayed in this parador during a festival, so we enjoyed a live performance in open air
As mentioned, the rooms did not compare to the grandeur of the parador itself

Family with children Good Stay
We celebrated our anniversary, and they welcomed us with a fantastic touch-a bottle of Cava and some sweets. The architecture is fine, feels like you're stepping back in time.
It wasn't cheap,, but for the experience, it was acceptable.

Professional, courteous, but not servile service. Very comfortable rooms in the fantastic setting of a former convent. Great swimming pool. Good food in delightful surroundings, including a generous, high quality breakfast. Wonderful from beginning to end.
A minor point - too much piped music, which was too repetitive - the Vangelis theme to Chariots of Fire could become intrusive after several repeats!

It was convenient for our trip home through Spain and a very atmospheric building?
Our bathroom was 'bijou'.

Very attentive staff, had good stay!!!
The location was particularly good and excellent for walking around National Theatre Museum. We had a reasonable breakfast, truly enjoyed the meal with local specialities, delicious food served in historic surroundings plus juicy tortilla.

Beautiful hotel with excellent outdoor dining options.
Check-in was chaotic and frustrating due to overwhelmed staff. I encountered rude behavior from the receptionist, which left a bad impression. Breakfast was disorganized with limited choices and poor coffee quality, disappointing considering the hotel's reputation.
